Liz: As I see your game, it seems you strongly relied on immunity wins and idol bluffing (which is by no means a bad strategy) to help you get to the end. If you had not won immunities and didn't find the idol, how would your strategy/game story been affected?

Darnell: Flirt with me? jk no
You said you wanted me to see your voting parchment/voting confessional. Apart from what you said in your opening(I read it so don't worry about that), is there anything you would like to clarify specifically to me about your game. Specifically, when were you lying to me and when were you telling the truth?

Hi Taj. Honestly I’d flirt with you any day. I hope you can read what I wrote next to it when it’s all over. About your question, I think I was a little too wary of you. Like, I should have calmed myself, but you made me nervous. It was Ken’s job to tell me once, “dude, Taj is fine, she is with us” and then you and I would talk and we would be fine. I think it was around round 8-9 when I felt better about you. This season I wanted to go out there and see if I actually had the ability to build genuine trust with people, and I think I did that, but I don't think I trusted you like, A LOT. I wish I could have built a deeper relationship with you because I feel we had chemistry but you intimidated me game-wise, you were very driven and opinionated and at some point I felt it was Taj vs Darnell. And I was getting a little obsessed by it, I really thought it would be an All Out War and you would be out to get Ken and I out and that wasn’t the case. You were genuinely a sweet, trustworthy person who wouldn’t kill a fly not even with ten double votes. I feel I prejudged you and that’s a negative part of my game because I should have spent more time getting to know you, but at this point I feel like things worked out the way they were meant to because we had different ideas of what we wanted to do for our endgame. I lied to you several times. I told you I was okay with voting Ken at F6 and it wasn’t true. I told you I would go F3 with you and that wasn’t true. Following your path to the end would be a death sentence to my game. I told you I would not fill Keith about the Malcolm vote and that wasn’t true, I did. I made up the plan of telling people Keith was the vote and then our alliance voted Liz/Malcolm and I lowkey just wanted to keep Keith safe with that move. I pushed for Liz to go partly because I thought she was close to you, one of the reasons I pushed for Jeff too. So yeah, we weren’t the closest of allies, but here comes some truths, you’re a Queen like I always told you and I liked you a lot, working with you was absolutely great, I did reach the point of trust with you many times even if it fluctuated, I cared for your opinion so I WAS okay with Malcolm going. And I would flirt with you. OH and I hated what you did during the first challenge of the game. UGH, but you made me laugh lol. Thank you for your time and your question and for being such a good friend in the game! I need to learn not to predjudge situations You're great

~ Liz's Response to Queen Taj ~
Hey superstar! Great to see you again! <3 Liz: As I see your game, it seems you strongly relied on immunity wins and idol bluffing (which is by no means a bad strategy) to help you get to the end. If you had not won immunities and didn't find the idol, how would your strategy/game story been affected? Well, I think that if I hadn't found the idol I'd probably have stepped it up a bit more in terms of my social game and politicking. Step one when you're in the minority and you've got the idol is to try and make sure that you're able to hold on to it as long as possible and play it at the right time. Like I've said before, the way that the early game went down clued me in to the fact that people who were visible threats to the majority alliance were going to be at extreme risk of getting picked off. People like Natalie, Morgan, and Keith were all seen as a more visible leaders and threats than I was, and Malcolm was seen as a more controlling type player. So although the three of them had better social ties than I did, and I could totally have benefited from having those same bonds in my pocket, I felt that playing too overtly would only wind up hurting my chances of a successful idol play. If I hadn't found the idol, I wouldn't have had that factoring into my decisions, and I would likely have relied harder on social ties and alliances to make my way through the game. As for the immunities, well, if I'm honest it wouldn't have changed my strategy at all. I didn't go into any round in this game assuming that I would win immunity. That would have been both arrogant and foolish. I always assumed that I was likely to lose the challenge and tried to compensate for that in advance. I never wanted to be caught in a situation where I'd assume I was safe and wind up being proven wrong. So, if I had to guess I'd say that if I hadn't won immunities or found the idol, my game story would have been "The Incredible Tale of Liz: Who Didn't Get Included In The Icons Alliance And Watched Ken Win A Bunch of Challenges, Then Got Voted Out At Final Nine Because Jeff Would've Assumed She Had The Idol Because Of Her Mad Hide-And-Seek Skills, Even Though In This Case She Didn't, And She Had No Idol To Play So She Went Home". It wouldn't have been a very good story, but at least its title would have been accurate, so that's something. So... uhh... yeah. Long story short, I'd probably have been more social, but less successful. Thanks for the question, Taj! Let me know if there's anything else you want to know!
